DECEMBER 20, 2014
1301 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20240
For the past two years, DC's young professionals have gathered at the Capital Ball in support of incredible causes. With the success of the First and Second Annual events, we are thrilled to announce The Third Annual Capital Ball in support of Intsikelelo. Just like the Capital Ball, Intsikelelo was founded by recent college graduates, Chris and Nick Grava, looking to make a sincere impact on their community. Intsikelelo was launched to help orphaned, HIV infected, homeless, abused, and neglected children in South Africa by improving care, education and living conditions for these children. They work with foster homes and childcare organizations to strengthen their structure, operations, and fundraising to help them reach operational and financial sustainability.
Working with Intsikelelo is an incredible opportunity not only for the Capital Ball team, but also for every sponsor and partner, as we have the ability to make a lasting impact on the lives of hundreds of South African ophrans. Intsikelelo is an organization that is poised to do great things for years to come, already gaining recognition from numerous press outlets such as Good Morning America, Ellen Degeneres, the Huffington Post and many more. Intsikelelo allows the Capital Ball to extend its giving footprint outside of the Nation’s Capital and build on an outstanding track record of impacting the community.
As usual, the event will include a live band, 4-hour open bar and light hors d'oeuvres. We will also have information about Intsikelelo available for anyone who is interested in getting more involved with the organization. Please join us on Saturday, December 20th at the Mellon for what is sure to be an incredible and memorable night!
The Capital Ball Corporation is a registered 501(c)(3) that establishes a setting where like-minded individuals can come together to network and support their community.
